How to Connect via FTP Using Your cPanel Username

In your FTP client of choice, you will need 4 items to log in (host, username, and password). Use the following items to log in:

1) Host: YOURDOMAIN.com *Note: you can also use "ftp.YOURDOMAIN.com" which will use port 21 as the default. You can also use the IP address of your server.

2) Username: Your cPanel user

3) Password: The password for your cPanel user

4) Port: 21 *Note: port 21 is the default port for FTP.

5) Click connect

How to connect via FTP using a created account:

1) Host: YOURDOMAIN.com

2) Username: ACCOUNT@YOURDOMAIN.com

3) Password: The password you created for this account

4) Port: 21

5) Click connect
